Background
ASKO, a premium Scandinavian brand known for its high-quality appliances and timeless design, required a unified design system to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability across its range of products, including laundry machines, dishwashers, and refreshment cabinets.
Collaborating with the innovative design agency ODI https://onedayinteract.se/, the project was to create a system that reflects ASKO’s commitment to minimalism and functionality while aligning with its brand heritage. The design system was envisioned to harmonize the user interfaces across appliances, strengthen brand identity, and provide a seamless experience for users globally.
Icon system
The goal is to establish a cohesive icon system that reflects the brand's identity across all products, while optimizing workflows, conserving resources, and building a unified icon library. By creating minimalistic, intuitive, and delightful user interfaces, the initiative aims to streamline design processes and accelerate product development.
Design guide
The goal of establishing a comprehensive design guide, including components, fonts, colors, and other elements, is to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all products and platforms. It provides a unified visual language that strengthens brand identity, enhances usability, and fosters a seamless user experience. Additionally, the design guide serves as a collaborative tool that streamlines workflows, reduces redundancy, and ensures alignment across teams, enabling faster and more effective product development.
